Dr. Dana Horne is a seasoned student affairs leader with over 25 years of experience dedicated to advancing student success, equity, and wellbeing. She was recently hired and now serves as the Associate Vice President for Student Affairs at SUNY Erie, where she provides strategic leadership for student services across multiple campuses. Her work is rooted in a trauma-informed, student-centered approach that prioritizes compassion, accountability, and inclusion.

SUNY Erie Community College faculty and staff enjoyed a day of professional development at the Summer Institute on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, from 8 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. at the North Campus, Bretschger Hall, 400 wing.

Kennedy Sparks’ journey into the nursing field began with a deep personal experience, caring for her sick mother. During the pandemic, her desire to help others grew stronger, solidifying her decision to pursue nursing as a career.
