The oldest of the three campuses, SUNY Erie’s North Campus is a welcoming, dynamic
hub for academics and student life. With spacious classrooms, modern facilities and
vibrant common areas, it offers an inspiring enrichment experience for learning.
North Campus sits strategically on the corner of Main Street and Youngs Road in Williamsville
and spans approximately 120 acres and nine buildings.
Gleasner Hall supports learning with administrative offices, including the President’s Office,
Academics, ECC Foundation, Human Resources, Payroll, Distance Learning, Workforce
Development and Community Education, and the Office of the Provost. Respiratory Care
and Humanities program students train and attend classes here. Support services are
available to the community at the One-Stop Center. The auditorium has a capacity of
approximately 420 people and offers space for events, workshops, and classes.
Our state-of-the-art STEM Building opened in the 2018 spring semester. The building offers classes and lab experiences
for students to explore and excel in biology, chemistry, engineering science, liberal
arts/sciences, and physics.
The Spring Student Center houses the campus bookstore, an updated student lounge, food pantry, Old School Eatery,
Statler Sweets and the Statler Erie Room, operated by the Culinary Arts and Hospitality
Management programs. The building is also home to Financial Aid, Admissions, Bursar,
Registrar’s Office, Student Support Center, Student Government, Humanities department,
College Safety, and Career Services. This building is a vibrant space for students
to gather, unwind, and participate in campus events and activities.
The School of Dental Hygiene is housed in the Spring Student Center and provides students with hands-on training,
expert instruction, and the skills needed through an innovative dental clinic that
is open to the community by appointment, to include patient care, oral health services,
and dental treatments.
The Center for Nanotechnology Studies provides approximately 6,100 square feet of learning space, $1.5 million in fabrication
and characterization equipment, and New York State’s only community college-hosted
clean room for manipulating particles within an advanced manufacturing process.
Bretschger Hall provides a home to many academic programs in the areas of healthcare, business, engineering,
and manufacturing. The Police Academy offers different certificate and degree programs
to help individuals stay current in law enforcement skills and trends. B-building
now serves as home to the college’s football program and offices.
Dry Memorial Library provides students with access to computers, books, academic resources, study spaces,
and research assistance. Veterans Services and the Student Access support services
are located here, and tutoring is available in the English Skills Center and math
lab.
Kittinger Hall is a key, accessible academic building that houses classrooms and academic programs
in General Studies, Math, Occupational Therapy, Nursing, Liberal Arts, and Social
Science.
Mary Lou Rath Child Development Center is a licensed childcare facility and provides access to childcare on a first-come,
first-served basis for students and staff. It offers developmentally appropriate early
childhood education for children from infancy through pre-kindergarten. Registration
is required in advance. The center is named in honor of former New York State Senator
Mary Lou Rath who played a pivotal role in securing funding and support for its establishment.
Bell Sports Center houses the Health, Wellness, and Physical Education Studies Department; Athletic
Department; and is home to the Kats baseball and softball teams. Construction is underway
for the new sports complex to feature soccer and football fields to support student-athletes
and enhance the athletic programs.
